Eligibility: The applicant needs to have essential degree or qualification in following disciplines from recognized university or institution. Age Limitations: 

 The applicant applying for the JAO examination needs to be 20 years and above and not 30 years and above as on January 1st of the examination year.
There is a relaxation of about 5 years for the SC / ST candidates, while OBC candidates are provided with 3 years, and the physically challenged with 10 years. Ex-Service men along with other categories such as displaced people do have age relaxation according to instructions provided by Government of India.

Job Requirements:

·         This organization proposes recruiting 962 JAOs (Junior Accounts Officers) through its open competitive exam
·         The exam is to be held within 25 Telecom Circles in the country

·  The organization reserves the rights for changing the vacancy numbers according to requirements
It is said that vacancies of about three percent (locomotor disability – 1.5% and Hearing Impairment – 1.5%) has been reserved the PH (physically challenged) Quota.

Application Process:

·         All filled up application form need to be sent to the specified address through speed post (mentioned in the site) or registered post within the stipulated date. 

Written Test:

·         Sec – I: This specific section comprises of questions in General Awareness / Aptitude and in General English. This section is of objective type.
·         Sec – II: This particular section also comprises of questions of objective type in Cost Accounting / Financial Management / Commercial laws and Tax. Furthermore, it tends to include Auditing Financial Management, Advanced Accounting, Financial Management in the Public Sector Entps. & Bare Acts and Financial Statements. It carries 300 marks. 

The Interview Process:

The candidates are to be shortlisted according to the marks that are obtained in the written examination. The shortlisted candidates are likely to be called for Personal Interview and Group Discussion.
